…goes to the Biologists from New Orleans who cleaned up 72 Pelicans from the Gulf who were saturated with oil, drove them to Brunswick, Georgia and released them into the wild. Hats off to these people for helping to save our wildlife. I’m sad to see them leave our area (I love watching the Pelicans), but I’m sooo happy they are alive and thriving in their new home.
This is the only clip I could find, and I couldn’t get it to embed into the post so I’ve provided a link to the wonderful story and video of the pelicans! Finally a happy story coming from this disaster! Bravo!!
Aren’t they magnificient prehistoric-looking birds! Let’s pray that they survive this oil disaster! Bravo for the Pelicans and the rescuers!
